Hello, I'm Arionna!
I am student at Centenary College of Louisiana studying Communication with a focus in Creative Strategic Content, and I'm minoring in Sociology with a focus in sex and gender studies. I'll be graduating this coming May 2026, and am an emerging storyteller who loves exploring how media can educate, inform, and make more complex ideas more accessible and fun!
Growing in the Southern California and moving to Louisiana at a young(ish) age, I learned early on how ppwerful stories can be. I picked up lessons from places you might not expect: Discovery Channel specials, PBS documentaries, audio fiction podcast (Remember when those were big in 2013?), Youtube Series like Crash Course, and even the stories I made up for my younger sisters while we were growing up in an underprivileged area.

Somewhere in those moments, I realized stories could be more than entertaining! They can shape how people understand themselves and each other. That idea has stayed with me, and its become the foundation of what I want to do professionally!

What I Stand On (And For)
These are the three things that you can expect from me in every project I take on -- my CUE for how I think, create, and collaborate!
1
Curiosity
Curiosity is always my starting point! I love to dive deep into a project, company, nonprofit, problem; ask too many questions (in a good way), and explore solutions and ideas through multiple lens. Curiosity pushes me to find the angle others miss!
2
Understanding
Understanding is how I turn that curiosity into something meaningful! I love breaking down complex topics (identity, culture, policy) and translating them into accessible and engaging stories. Its at the core of my journalism, education, and community work!
3
Effect
I(E)mpact is the reason I create! No matter what I do in life, I always want my work to inform, empower, and reach real people. From a wellness campaign to an op-ed, short film and more, I want what I make to spark conversation and make learning feel possible (and fun).
